Job summary

HubX is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join Next Studio in Istanbul. You will build high-quality web experiences used by millions, collaborating with product, design and engineering to own features and shape technical decisions.

The role emphasizes building scalable web apps with Next.js (SSR/SSG), Redux Toolkit, and Firebase services, while maintaining performance and accessibility in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong TypeScript expertise incl. functional/asynchronous paradigms.
• Develop and maintain Next.js apps with SSR/SSG.
• Deep understanding of Redux/Redux Toolkit and RTK Query.
• Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, RTDB, Remote Config).
• Tailwind CSS and UI development expertise.

Responsibilities

• Create single-page, static-generated, and server-rendered pages.

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our Next Studio.

As a Frontend Developer in Next Studio, you’ll have the opportunity to build high-quality web experiences that complement products used by millions. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams, take ownership of what you build, and contribute to the technical decisions that shape our products.

Some of your responsibilities

• Create single-page, static-generated, and server-rendered web pages.
• Build beautiful, mobile-first, responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible UIs.
• Work closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, and developers to define, design, build, and ship new features.
• Understand and diagnose web metrics to improve Core Web Vitals and overall web performance.
• Work in a cross-functional team within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable code and actively participate in peer code reviews.
• Develop and maintain scalable systems to support our growing user base.

What we look for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in frontend development
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, including functional and asynchronous programming paradigms
• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, including server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG)
• Deep understanding of state management with Redux / Redux Toolkit and data fetching using RTK Query
• Hands-on experience with Firebase services, such as Auth, Firestore, Realtime Database (RTDB), and Remote Config
• Proficiency in UI development using Tailwind CSS, Shadcn
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Stay current on the latest platform capabilities so that we know what’s possible.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code-reviews.
• Develop and maintain systems to support the growing user base.

Nice to have

• Experience working with content management systems like Keystone.js, Strapi, or Sanity
• Ability to create web animations using libraries like GSAP and Framer Motion, or similar libraries
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and design-to-code best practices
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility best practices
• Keeping up with modern frontend development trends and latest platform capabilities
• UI/UX knowledge and working experience with Figma or design systems
