Front End Loader Operator

Afrimat Readymix Inland, based in Lephalale, has a vacancy for a Front End Loader Operator.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Valid driver’s license
• Technical/Core Training: Valid Front End Loader Competency Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in a mining environment
• Ability to distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
• Be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Safe operation of excavator inside mining area
• Handling and / or moving of material
• Effectively communicate to all site personnel
• Daily pre-start inspections on excavator
• Keep machine clean
