FP&A Manager is instrumental to manage financial performance of the Ankara (Sincan & Temelli) plants including analysis of forecasts and actual performance, business drivers, and operational metrics. S/he is responsible for building organizational capability within the finance function by hiring and developing FP&A team. S/he also ensures assets assigned by the corporation are adequately protected and provide operations management with financial guidance necessary to produce the expected return on those assets.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee / Execute the planning and forecasting process in order to guide business units towards clear targets, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization.
  • Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
  • Lead the financial analysts in analysing and interpreting financial data related to costs incurred by the site during operations with the objective of providing valuable insights to Plant Manager & Plant Controller and aiding them in making decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategy, and overall financial performance.
  • Advise on financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure that financial strategies align with corporate goals and help navigate financial challenges.
  • Take a leading and coordinating role in working closely with various departments like Zone controlling/accounting, sales, operations, SCM, and HR. Understand the needs of these teams and provide tailored financial insights. Collaborate across functions and groups to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Monitor revenue recognition, cost allocations, and margins.
  • Give support to maintain adequate product costing systems for valuation and cost estimating activities including annual standard cost updates and manufacturing tariffs.
  • Review, analyse and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency, and transparency. Maintain integrity of financial reports prepared by the plant.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain a system of internal controls that safeguards company asset and provides for integrity and propriety of financial transactions and recommend improvements. Compliance with corporate policy, including SOX
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in on site processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or similar
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability to drive cost reduction projects and improve plant productivity
  • Good knowledge of SAP is preferred
