What you’ll do• Enterprise Engineering & Solution (EES) team mission is to support Vodafone Business in integrating the solutions for Enterprise into Vodafone Network. The EES Department is built on 6 teams with a cross-market view across all Vodafone footprint, setting the foundation for EES service commercialization. The EES organization defines clear accountabilities for common technology areas across the market and ensures adequate focus and harmonization for small markets.
• The 6 teams and their accountabilities are CPE & IP Phones design, LCM, CSB, automation, SD-WAN appliances, partner GW, firewall, aggregation networks, remote access, automation & connectivity quality, Layer 2 VPN, Dedicated Ethernet, MPLS ethernet, UCC, Voice CPE, Layer 3 services – MPLS Layer 3 VPN (Company Net), Internet Access, Wire-Only, WiFi & automation.
• The Enterprise Engineering Solution Cluster team is accountable to collect the demand and deliver the EES service in Albania, Romania, Turkey, UK and Ireland. It delivers the service either with the local SPOC in case she/he has already the know-how, or the SPOC gets support and fetch know-how from the competence centers. The SPOC makes the most of the local knowledge of the network and the relationship with the local stakeholders to deliver the service.
• Considering the accountabilities described before, the role includes:
• University degree (preferable: computer science, telecommunications or equivalent).
• 2 years of experience in Telecommunications sector – Experience in Enterprise Segment Access & Telephony will be considered an advantage.
• Good awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT.
• Good understanding of Access and IP Routing technologies.
• Understanding of IP (Fixed and Mobile) telephony.
• Understanding of Security considerations and market solutions in the area.
• Inter-functional relationships between network elements.
• Financial acumen.
