Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in Controlling, Finance, or Accounting, preferably in an international company.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken); German is an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the financial controlling function, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare, monitor, and analyze annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial results.
  • Conduct variance analyses and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and corporate financial policies.
  • Monitor cost structures, profitability, and business KPIs across departments.
  • Support management with strategic financial planning and decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analyses.
  • Oversee internal controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage and develop the controlling team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement digital tools and process improvements for controlling and reporting efficiency.
