This Position reports to:
ELSP-LVS HUB FINANCE MANAGER

Your Role And Responsibilities

The LPG Finance Manager acts as a business partner to the LPG Manager to manage and optimize the financial performance of the assigned Local Unit. Supports effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives, recommend and support implementation of the most appropriate business solutions. Depending on the size and complexity of the Unit (e.g., front-end units), this role can be combined with other responsibilities / LPGs.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Contributes as key partner for the LPG Manager in determining and developing the execution model for the LPG in alignment with the GPG strategy
  • Translates financial position into realistic forecasts and establishes actions and measurable targets to enhance financial return. Manages the forecasting process for the LPG, evaluates financial implications, builds scenarios, and recommends actions
  • Monitors the financial performance of the LPG, provides insight and analysis to support operational decision making. Identifies issues and supports management on action plans to drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency. Manages and closely monitors the cash flow and takes action to improve Net Working Capital
  • Assesses commercial and financial risks, defines, and follows up actions to mitigate impact on business performance. Supports the risk management process, regarding tender calculations (full cost model), project cash flow and exposure analysis including foreign exchange, risk, and opportunity assessments (incl. inflation) and other commercial items
  • Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Supervises the adherence to Internal Controls (SOX) to secure correctness of financial reporting following the applicable Group, Division Country standards, regulations, and guidelines (incl. A&RP and USGAAP). Supports the remediation of identified deficiencies (GRCM) within the area of responsibility
  • Leads provides guidance and facilitates best practice sharing between Local Finance Managers in consistency with controlling practices within the GPG. Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant LPG Manager, Finance Group functions, Hub, GPG and other internal functions to identify areas for continues improvement
  • Establishes and oversees processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information. Ensures high quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards (A&RP and USGAAP) and financial closing schedules
  • Supports the development, staffing and direction of the Business Controlling Organization in collaboration with HR Business Partners, leadership team, Hub, and GPG
Qualifications For The Role
  • Bachelor’s degree from relevant fields (Business Admin, economics, etc.)
  • Minimum Work Experience: 5–8-year project business or manufacturing experience, audit experience will be an asset
  • Working knowledge about USGAAP, SOX compliance & regulations
  • Hands on experience of working in SAP Modules FI, CO, MM, PP, PS
  • Well versed with Office 365 tools
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations
  • Good Command of English & Turkish (written & spoken)
