Job summary

Eachlabs, Inc. is seeking a hands-on finance leader to own the monthly close, revenue tracking, and reporting for a fast-growing AI media company with usage-based revenue. You will work closely with operations and the founders to design scalable financial systems across entities and currencies.

The role involves building controls, supporting budgeting and fundraising materials, and communicating effectively with investors and auditors. Prior startup or SaaS finance experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Startup or SaaS finance experience with usage-based revenue is preferred.
• Strong reconciliation and margin analysis skills.
• Ability to explain complex financial issues to engineers without jargon.
• Experience handling multiple entities and currencies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close, financial statements, and management reporting.
• Track revenue and cost of goods sold across usage-based billing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, investor updates and fundraising materials.
• Build controls to simplify audits and ensure compliance across entities.
• Collaborate with accountants and legal advisors on tax and regulatory matters.
• Automate manual processes and replace them with scalable tools.

each::labs is an AI media company: one API across 600+ image, video and audio models, used by 20,000+ developers. We operate across two countries, several currencies and a growing list of providers. We're a small team, and so far our finance function has been a few very determined people and a lot of spreadsheets.

The role

You'll make the financial side of each::labs boring in the best way: accurate, on time, ready for any investor or auditor who asks.

This is a hands-on role. You'll do the work and design the system at the same time. You'll work closely with our operations team and the founders.

What you'll actually do

• Own the monthly close, financial statements and management reporting
• Track revenue and cost of goods sold across usage-based billing and model provider costs, and know our gross margin better than anyone
• Prepare investor updates, and support budgeting, forecasting and fundraising materials
• Build controls that make an audit feel like a formality
• Work with our accountants and legal advisors across entities on tax and compliance
• Replace manual steps with tools and automation wherever you can

You might be a fit if…

• You've run finance or accounting at a startup or SaaS company, ideally one with usage-based revenue
• You find a reconciliation that ties out to zero quietly satisfying
• You can explain a margin problem to an engineer without a single acronym
• You've dealt with multiple entities, currencies or international tax (a big plus)

Probably not for you if…

• You want a large team and a fully built finance stack on day one
• "That's how it's always been done" is a good enough reason for you
• Ambiguity makes you freeze instead of build
