Faculty Position in Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Özyeğin University invites applications for a faculty position in Clinical Psychology. Although candidates at the Associate Professor or Professor level are preferred, applications are open to candidates at all academic ranks. Evaluation of applications will be based on candidates’ research excellence and publication impact, as well as their undergraduate and graduate teaching experience.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to strengthening the department’s research capacity; to enhance national and international research and educational collaborations both within and outside the university; to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; and to provide clinical supervision.

Founded in 2011, Özyeğin University Psychology BA program is accredited by the Turkish Psychological Association, reflecting the high national and international standards of the education offered. In addition to the BA program, the department offers MA programs in Couple and Family Therapy, Applied Developmental Psychology, and Industrial and Organizational Psychology, as well as a PhD program in Psychology. The department currently hosts approximately 500 undergraduate students, 15 graduate students, two postdoctoral researchers, one honorary professor, and 15 full-time faculty members. With multiple research laboratories, a Couple and Family Therapy Center, and active involvement in a wide range of research and intervention projects, the department has a strong record of research productivity, public service, and community engagement.
