As EY Türkiye, we are looking for a VAT Specialist to be assigned to the TAX / Indirect Tax Core (Istanbul) department.

Your key responsibilities

• Preparing the necessary lists related to VAT refund processes and ensuring their compliance with the legislation,
• Following up on VAT Refund Risk Analysis Reports and Deficiency Letters,
• Conducting necessary audits related to VAT refunds,
• Reviewing and verifying documents prepared for refund applications submitted by taxpayers, uploading them to the system, and managing the VAT refund file,
• Supporting the preparation of VAT Certification Reports,
• Following up on tax office procedures

Skills and attributes for success

• Graduated from 4-year faculties in the fields of Economics and Administrative Sciences,
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting and taxation,
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word,
• Willing to develop themselves in the field of accounting and tax,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,
• Good interpersonal skills w,th a focus on client relations and problem-solving,
• A team player with effective time management skills.
