Job summary

EY-Parthenon Istanbul invites a Senior Strategy and Transactions professional to join our Capital and Debt Advisory Team. You will model complex deals, deliver feasibility analyses, and support project financing with legal and client-facing collaboration.

You will engage with local and international teams, crafting presentations and value-driven recommendations for clients across sectors.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in business/finance or related field.
• 2-5 years of related work experience in finance or advisory.
• Advanced financial modelling skills and IFRS knowledge.

Your key responsibilities

• Construction of detailed, complex, and dynamic financial models capable of performing sensitivity analyses to support various financial transactions and decisions
• Preparation of comprehensive financial feasibility reports after thorough analysis
• Supporting the project finance or financial restructuring documentation process, working closely with legal advisors and simultaneously aligning with financial model development
• Performing in-depth research across various topics and sectors to provide insightful and valuable inputs for project development
• Assisting in the preparation of appealing teasers, information memorandums, and persuasive client presentations to effectively communicate our offerings and propositions
• Participating in calls with clients and other parties, providing presentations to effectively communicate project outputs, financial model results or possible solutions
• Collaboration with local and international team members to share functional expertise, craft effective strategies, provide key decision support and contribute to find best solution for our clients

What we look for

• Strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field
• 2 -5 years of related work experience
• Advanced financial modelling skills, able to build up extremely sophisticated financial models for debt related transactions from scratch
• Has an understanding of accounting principles, basic know-how related to local tax accounting and IFRS applications
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VBA knowledge is preferred) and MS Powerpoint · Excellent analytical skills,able to show previous academic achievement in mathematics
• Knowledge of principles of Project Financing · Strong interpersonal and teaming skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
• High proficiency with MS Office, able to deliver effective, stylish presentations
• English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic
