We are looking for a Expert/Senior Data Engineer who is excited about data and eager to join a large team working with our finance client. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines using ODI for efficient ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity throughout the entire data lifecycle.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and procedures to extract, transform, and load data into Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of data systems.
• Collaborate with data architects to design and implement scalable and efficient data models.
• Simplify and optimize the ETL flows and transformations.
• Support the team in technical assessments, analyses, data modeling, design phases, and data quality testing lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Data Warehousing or Data Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Oracle databases and ODI ETL tools.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience designing and optimizing ETL processes using ODI.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques for Oracle databases.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Experience with other databases and ETL tools is a plus.
• Experience in BI tools, preferably Power BI, is a plus.
• Having a background in banking is a significant advantage.
• Fluency and excellent writing skills in English.
