Job summary

Calico Teknoloji is seeking a capable FPGA DSP engineer to implement and optimize DSP pipelines for SDR/ESM/Radar applications. You will translate algorithm prototypes into synthesizable HDL and optimize fixed-point representations for real hardware.

Responsibilities include high-throughput FFTs, polyphase filter banks, and CFAR/radar processing blocks, with collaboration across hardware and software teams and verification using signal analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years of FPGA development experience in DSP/radar/EW domains.
• Strong foundation in DSP theory, SDR architectures, and radar signal processing.
• Deep understanding of CFAR and hardware implementation constraints.
• Experience with polyphase filters, CIC filters, CORDIC, and FFT pipelines in FPGA.
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy/SciPy) for algorithm development and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design FPGA-based DSP pipelines for SDR, ESM, and EW systems.
• Translate Python/C++ prototypes into synthesizable HDL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog).
• Optimize fixed-point representations and manage quantization trade-offs.
• Develop high-throughput FFT pipelines and polyphase filter banks.
• Implement detection, radar, and ESM processing blocks.
• Create deterministic streaming architectures with low-latency data paths.
• Validate algorithms using Python, simulations, and hardware tests.
• Collaborate with embedded/software teams to integrate FPGA blocks.
