Job description

EDUKAS is the official representative of UK universities in Turkey, dedicated to connecting talented Turkish students with top UK institutions. Twice a year, we host Education UK Days, a major roadshow event featuring over 50 UK universities visiting Turkey to meet prospective students.

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support our Events Manager in the planning and execution of Education UK Days, seminars, webinars, and 1-to-1 offer holder meetings throughout the year. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating logistics and communications across multiple event formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating all aspects of Education UK Days, including venue arrangements, university partner communications, and event logistics.
  • Support the planning and execution of seminars, webinars, and 1-to-1 offer holder meetings.
  • Help manage scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination with the Events Manager.
  • Support student registration, on-site and virtual event management, and follow-up communications.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for visiting UK university representatives.
  • Liaise with marketing to ensure promotional materials and digital communications align with event schedules.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Events team.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in event coordination, administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills in both Turkish and English.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with hybrid work environment and occasional travel within Turkey.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
