Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in environmental management, wastewater treatment operations, and waste management in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment technologies, process optimization, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and corporate environmental standards.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the industrial wastewater treatment plant in compliance with regulatory discharge limits.
• Lead waste management activities and drive waste reduction initiatives at source.
• Optimize chemical usage in wastewater treatment while maintaining effectiveness.
• Manage global reporting of environmental KPIs and drive data management processes.
• Develop and lead projects focused on water efficiency and site water usage reduction.
• Establish and maintain site-wide chemical inventory and conduct environmental risk assessments.
• Identify and ensure compliance with environmental legal/regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal environmental audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote environmental awareness through trainings and campaigns.
