Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul is seeking a senior Engineering & Facilities Manager to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations, sustain the building, grounds and physical plant, and focus on safety, security and asset protection. You will lead budgeting, capital projects, preventive maintenance and energy conservation, ensure regulatory compliance, and support emergency response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years engineering/maintenance experience, or equivalent technical training.
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major with 1 year of relevant experience.
• HVAC-R, electrical or plumbing technical training.

Responsibilities

• Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems.
• Ensures regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
• Develops specifications and requirements for service contracts for building needs.
• Distributes preventive maintenance and repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completion.
• Oversees maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public spaces, restaurants, vehicles and recreational facilities.
• Develops a long term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection.
