Job summary

Calico Teknoloji is seeking an Electronics Warfare Algorithms Engineer to design end-to-end processing pipelines from raw IQ to emitter identification, collaborating with FPGA, CPU, and GPU teams. This role emphasizes algorithmic development and real-time implementation.

This position requires Python proficiency (NumPy/SciPy), SDR experience, and lab validation capabilities to translate theory into robust capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of professional experience in signal processing / EW / SDR / radar-related algorithms.
• Strong understanding of EW domain concepts and practical detector design (CFAR).
• Proficient in Python with NumPy/SciPy for algorithm development and evaluation.
• Experience with channelizers, FFT-based processing and multirate DSP.
• Experience with SDRs (capture/playback, gains, calibration) and IQ data handling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and produce technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ESM signal processing chains (capture to emitter ID).
• Develop PDW extraction algorithms and robust detectors.
• Build channelizers and multirate DSP architectures (FFT, PFB).
• Apply matched filtering and time-frequency analysis to improve sensitivity.
• Develop Direction Finding processing strategies for array geometries.
• Analyze agile/spread-spectrum signals and validate under realistic SNRs.
• Characterize RF/system limits and translate to algorithm requirements.
• Collaborate with FPGA/CPU/GPU teams to map algorithms to hardware.
• Create test harnesses and evaluation pipelines with real and synthetic data.
• Produce documentation, plots, and quantitative results.
