Job summary

Jindal Hospital is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance professional to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of critical hospital electrical systems.

You will monitor HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS, transformers, and power distribution, ensuring uninterrupted power to OTs, ICUs, and emergency areas. The role requires coordinating with engineers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to sustain safe, compliant operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of hospital electrical systems.
• Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS, transformers and power distribution.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical areas: OTs, ICUs, Emergency, labs.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and rectify quickly to minimize downtime.
• Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of electrical installations and equipment.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and vendors for installation and commissioning.
• Monitor load and energy consumption; report abnormalities.
• Maintain maintenance logs and equipment records; ensure safety compliance.
• Assist AMC coordination and vendor management for electrical systems.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and support 24/7 hospital operations.
• Coordinate with Biomedical, HVAC, Fire & Safety and Civil teams.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety in electrical rooms and utility areas.
• Support infrastructure expansion and renovation projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of hospital electrical systems.
• Monitor and maintain HT/LT Panels, DG Sets, UPS Systems, Transformers, Electrical Panels, and Power Distribution Systems.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical hospital areas including OTs, ICUs, Emergency, Cath Labs, Wards, Laboratories, and Diagnostic Services.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely rectification to minimize downtime.
• Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of electrical installations and equipment.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and vendors for installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Monitor electrical load, energy consumption, and report abnormalities.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, maintenance logs, and equipment records.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, hospital policies, and statutory regulations.
• Assist in AMC coordination and vendor management for electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and support 247 hospital operations.
• Coordinate with Biomedical, HVAC, Fire & Safety, and Civil Maintenance teams for smooth facility operations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in electrical rooms and utility areas.
• Support hospital infrastructure expansion and renovation projects whenever required.
