Job description

We are looking for a Key Account Manager for Oerlikon Metco Bursa facility. In this role, you will consult with customers on Metco equipment and materials and support local distributors in market development.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Manage assigned accounts commercially by proposing pricing strategies, preparing quotations with contractual terms, and delivering sales presentations. Inform clients about innovations related to applications and processes, primarily in aerospace, defense, and energy markets.
  2. Define and manage the sales budget and forecast per account, actively contributing to the achievement of the overall country budget.
  3. Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers per account, develop and implement tailored sales plans in collaboration with sales managers and segment/product managers.
  4. Consult with customers on coatings and applications, recommend products and services, develop new applications, analyze customer needs, and manage sampling and demonstration activities.
  5. Support local distributors in market development and facilitate communication with the Metco organization.
  6. Provide continuous market and customer feedback, including competitive intelligence and pricing trends, to relevant departments within Oerlikon Metco.
  7. Identify new prospects, contact them, and develop these opportunities.
  8. Attend trade shows, industry seminars, and events as appropriate and agreed upon with direct managers.
Your Profile
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Approximately 2 years of professional sales experience in a similar environment.
  3. Knowledge of thermal spray coating solutions/industry is a plus.
  4. Proficient in English.
  5. Proficiency in PC tools (MS Office; SAP R3 is a plus).
  6. Valid driving license.
  7. Willingness to travel.
