Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering or related fields
- Familiar with applicable food industry regulations and standards, and proficient in related legislation
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office applications with in-depth knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-paced environment
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Mobile and flexible
- Male candidates must have completed their military service
Responsibilities
- Ensures that technical and administrative information required for compliance with import regulations is recorded in the Phase Tool system for products planned to be produced by IKEA of Sweden BA Food under the IKEA Food & Beverage supply agreement.
- Reports any non-compliance with Turkish food regulations through the RCHS system.
- Monitors and reports on compliance with new and existing regulations and standards related to IKEA food products.
- Collaborates with IKEA of Sweden BA Food (IOS) in managing product safety, quality deviations, and product recall processes. Tracks local regulations and health/safety alerts such as RCH, RASFF, and RAPEX.
- Keeps abreast of changes in food legislation and ensures IKEA Food & Beverage’s compliance.
- Defines and implements compliance processes, working methods, tools, and KPIs.
- Identifies potential or actual risks in the supply chain, reports them via the RCHS system, and represents IKEA FOOD Turkey in global PR&C meetings.
- Ensures implementation of ASC-MSC standards and oversees PR&C audits conducted by IKEA of Sweden BA Food, ensuring audit requirements are met.
- Reviews and updates product content information according to local regulations and IKEA standards.
- Supports the fulfillment of ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System requirements within their scope.
- The IKEA Product Requirements and Compliance Group Leader reports to the Country Food and Beverage Director.
