GLOBAL OEM & KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER IVS (Industrial Vacuum Solutions)

We are looking for an ambitious Global OEM & Key Account Manager for the Industrial Vacuum Solutions (IVS) Division of Nilfisk.

This role in summary

The role is split into two parts: the Global OEM Manager and the Global Key Account Manager for the IVS Business.

As a Global OEM Manager, you will be both a “harvester” and a “farmer.” Your role will be to support the existing OEM Business from the Commercial Center of Excellence in Italy (Zocca-MO), as well as hunt for new Global opportunities within OEMs.

In this role, you will be:

  • The liaison between Key OEM customers’ Technical Team and key decision makers and the R&D and production facility in Italy (Zocca).

  • The direct link and sparring partner between the Local Sales Companies OEM Managers and the Center of Excellence in Italy (Global Product Managers, Application Managers, R&D, and Operations etc.).

  • Enlarging the business within existing and future OEM customers from a more localized business to a true Global Business, tapping into our Global Sales Companies network.

As a Global Key Account Manager, you will be supporting our Sales Teams in finding the right customized solution within the Industrial Vacuum Solutions, whether this is a mobile vacuum cleaner or a centralized vacuum system, with full support from our Competence Center based in Italy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the day-to-day business of major OEM Accounts.

  • Network with major OEM Key Accounts to identify and address specific needs and enlarge the business potential with new product offerings and existing products in new markets.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with OEM customers’ decision makers to ensure long-term success.

  • Support and contribute to the overall Company targets and strategy for OEMs.

  • Provide excellent internal and external communication.

  • Act as the liaison between Global OEM customers and internal teams (R&D, Product Management etc.) ensuring clients’ requirements are met.

  • Support the increase of business volume with major Global Key Accounts within mainly the food and pharma business segments.

  • Liaise with Local Sales and Global and Local Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products and international contracts.

The Global OEM & Key Account Manager will be located in our Istanbul Office and will report to the Senior Sales Manager.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with professional experience in durable goods and highly technical products within the B2B environment in Industrial Manufacturing companies.

  • Strong sales-related background.

  • Customer-oriented attitude.

  • Fluency in English is a must; other languages preferred.

  • Data-focused approach.

  • Sales metric and marketing intelligence professional.

  • Willingness to travel.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Sales experience with OEM customers and industrial customers.

  • A Technical Background.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
