Requirements:
- Videoconferencing Technologies - Intermediate level, 3+ years experience. Strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of Polycom Videoconferencing Technologies. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, support software and basic network-related problems.
- Video conferencing - Room systems - Beginner level, 3+ years experience. Manage VTC room systems including VTC codecs (Poly), cameras (HP/Poly, Panasonic), projectors (Epson), monitors (NEC), control processors (Crestron, Extron), microphone systems, video matrixes, and peripherals.
- Network - Beginner level, 2+ years experience. Troubleshoot basic network issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both native and non-native speakers. Ability to communicate technical issues effectively with networking, video conferencing technologies, and room systems staff.
Activities:
- Leverage industry expertise and best practices in monitoring and daily operation of COTS technologies and software in collaboration.
- Coordinate service schedules for VTC sessions with front office teams via LANDCOM DOM.
- Prepare VTC equipment before sessions and perform tests to ensure proper setup.
- Create incident tickets for issues detected, using the centralized Service Desk.
- Coordinate with CSU Izmir and Service Line technicians to provide Level 1/1+ support for incident resolution.
- Attend VTC sessions with the team.
- Provide Level 0 support during sessions and escalate issues as needed.
- Perform checks on VTC equipment and notify technicians of potential incidents.
- Suggest service improvements to the contractor.
