Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team. The BI Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including data models, reports, and dashboards.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  3. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses.
  4. Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of BI solutions.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions and processes.
  6. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
  7. Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
  8. Continuously improve BI processes and solutions based on feedback and changing business needs.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a BI Engineer or in a similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar.
  4. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
  5. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  2. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  3. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  4. Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
