ROLE

As a Data Engineer at OBSS, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust and efficient data pipelines across various data platforms. This role requires strong SQL and ETL expertise, along with the ability to manage complex data transformation and automation processes. You will be expected to contribute to large-scale data integration projects, using tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and scripting solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with relational databases, data warehousing, and ideally some programming knowledge in Python or Java.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational databases, primarily Oracle.
• Strong command of PL/SQL, with proven ability to develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write and tune complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, especially Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and managing end-to-end data transfer workflows.
• Familiarity with data transformation and automation techniques.
• Preferably, 2–3 years of experience coding in Python; alternatively, experience in Java is acceptable.
• General understanding of data warehousing concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
