We are looking for an “Logistics Supervisor” to take part in Sisecam Glassware located in Eskişehir. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university program, preferably in Logistics, Engineering, or Economics and Administrative Sciences
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field
• Knowledgeable in customs, port, and land transportation operational processes
• Proficient in MS Office applications; preferably experienced in SAP/S4HANA
• Good command of English
• Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset; capable of planning and organizing effectively
• Proactive, dynamic, adaptable to team-oriented environments, and able to manage operationally intensive processes
• Demonstrated problem-solving, planning, and task follow-up abilities
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Eskişehir
• No travel restrictions and active driver’s license holder

Job Description

• Collaborating with the Logistics Manager to lead the logistics team and ensure the timely and efficient execution of daily operations in alignment with the vision, strategy, and strategic plan set by the Logistics Director and Supply Chain Development & Integration unit
• Planning and monitoring shipments, tracking logistics-related issues identified during post-shipment visual and quality inspections; planning and executing the optimization of logistics flows within the shipment network, ensuring effective use of resources for supply logistics, shipment logistics, and inter-facility logistics activities
• Managing daily logistics planning and operational activities, including evaluating transportation requests, ensuring feasibility of delivery dates, and compliance with regulations in accordance with global planning rules and expectations
• Overseeing shipment processes such as document or goods preparation, ensuring timely communication with relevant parties in case of delays, and coordinating risk prevention plans with stakeholders to mitigate any potential losses
• Actively communicating with logistics partners (e.g., 3PL companies) and all internal/external stakeholders
• Ensuring all transportation operations comply with regulations and safety standards, taking corrective actions when necessary; collaborating and coordinating with Logistics Procurement and Customs units to consolidate transportation requests and optimize routes and transport methods in cooperation with Field Operations, Foreign Trade, and Order Fulfillment units
• Executing and completing tasks assigned by the Logistics Manager in a timely manner and at the expected quality
• Ensuring the quality and timely preparation of deliverables, leading monthly key performance indicator assessments, and managing weekly evaluations of business development projects
