OPERATION DIRECTOR

Netlog Logistics Group, consisting of 18 leading companies and brands in the logistics sector across local, regional, and global markets, is experiencing rapid growth and maintaining a leading position in its industry. We are seeking an Operations Director for our logistics center in Istanbul.

The Operations Director reports directly to the General Manager and must be a high-energy leader capable of directing a workforce to fulfill orders for key global accounts. This includes managing inbound inventory, overseeing inventory maintenance, supervising pick/pack operations, and managing outbound shipments. A strong understanding of labor management and forecasting is essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and direct the operations team to achieve key goals related to order processing, delivery, quality assurance, inventory management, purchasing, cost management, process layout, process improvements, and employee training and development.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and other executives to make decisions on operational activities and set strategic objectives.
• Strategically acquire and develop key accounts, ensuring their growth and maximizing their long-term value.
• Work with functional leaders to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the facility complies with all relevant laws, ordinances, and regulations.
• Set and monitor daily, monthly, and annual productivity and quality goals.
• Lead the fulfillment team to operate cost-effectively and competitively, fostering continuous improvement.
• Manage logistics operations and develop sustainable growth plans.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
• Develop performance reports, promote team development, and motivate staff.
• Oversee company operations to ensure alignment with strategic goals across departments.
• Analyze data and metrics to evaluate and improve operational and financial performance.
• Plan human resources, equipment, and space needs based on efficiency analyses.
• Actively work to reduce error rates, operation times, and costs through strategic planning.
• Maintain operational quality standards, set improvement goals, and manage related projects.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in people management.
• Self-directed with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Industry knowledge in fulfillment areas such as warehousing, distribution, inbound/outbound logistics, quality control, B2C, B2B, and WMS.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Excellent English language skills.
