A Cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register or other point-of-sale system in a retail environment.

Hotel accountants are responsible for managing the finances of hotels and other lodging establishments. They work closely with hotel managers to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
