Roving Compass is looking for a dynamic HEAT (hostile environment awareness training) trainer for our Turkiye office as well as our Syria office.

Are you passionate about safety, training, and making a real impact in high-risk contexts?

We’re looking for an experienced HEAT Trainer to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you’ll lead interactive, high-stakes training programs that equip humanitarian workers, journalists, and others with the skills they need to survive and thrive in hostile/unstable environments.

You’ll deliver hands-on, scenario-based modules that cover everything from security awareness and first aid to navigating kidnapping threats and trauma resilience. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and effectiveness of people working in some of the world’s most challenging places.
