Your Profile – What do You bring as Logistics & Warehouses Executive?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics and warehousing operations.

Your Tasks – What You can expect as Logistics & Warehouses Executive?

  • Ensure the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
  • Ensure staff resources are planned based upon changing needs.
  • Use industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to differentiate from the marketplace and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment or frequency.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training or safety records.
  • Analyze data to monitor performance and plan necessary improvements.
  • Develop the business by analyzing logistical problems and developing new solutions.
  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers.
  • Conduct human resource development activities, such as developing and implementing training concepts.
  • Support management team of respective SCM-Unit in the development and implementation of SCM-Strategies and projects.
  • Effectively manage the receipt, storage, packaging, loading and shipping of products to customers.
  • Ensure costs are managed through productivity of personnel, efficient usage of storage space and protection of stored material.
  • Maintain inventory records and cost accounting.
  • Identify causes of product losses and take corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Make recommendations for warehouse/material handling equipment needs and replacement.
  • Provide training; supervise and appraise staff.
  • Manage budgets.
