The Production Manager is responsible for organizing and directing production activities as per manufacturing strategy of the plant - meeting safety, quality, delivery, production, cost and human capital goals.

We would welcome a high-performing professional who will closely monitor production, is results-oriented, has an analytical perspective, and can deliver high performance.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Organizing and directing production activities as per manufacturing strategy of the plant
• Meeting safety, quality, delivery, production, cost and human capital goals
• Achieving production related profit goals, Operational Availability targets, labor efficiency improvements and material optimizing objectives
• Budgeting, management and reporting of manufacturing related costs and expenses
• Supporting successful implementation of new programs, enhancing the efficiency of production activities and safety initiatives and supervising/ensuring the welfare and motivation of the associates
• Coordinating all Continuous Improvement and Kaizen related activities within the plant

Our requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related. A proven record of experience in automotive industry or in a related area
• Relevant experience of ideally more than 10 years in total, which should include minimum 5 years of management level experience related to production area
• Result and cost oriented professional
• Proven skills in using continuous improvement tools and implementing new CI projects
• Would be advantageous: digital transformation experience, automotive industry experience, metal sector experience
• High communication skills on all management levels. Experience in cooperating with worker unions would be an advantage
• Proficient English language skills mandatory - both written and verbal
• Highly team-oriented individual, a dedicated professional capable of dealing with pressure and adversity
• Proactive and organized person with high communication and problem-solving skills
