QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Turkiye Technology Center is looking for Project Engineer - Chemical Processes and Coatings and offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies in aircraft and industrial engine repair processes. The role is based in Kartal, Istanbul, established by General Electric Aviation, GE MTC, and TEI.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
• Ability to perform detailed technical reviews and maintain good documentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a eagerness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of coating processes and materials used in aviation or automotive industries, such as painting, plating, anodizing.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations like REACh, EPA, Stockholm Convention.
• Experience with project management tools and development approaches such as TRL/MRL.
• Self-starter and independent worker capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct engineering assessments for GE Aerospace hardware to evaluate impacts from regulations and material obsolescence.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical data in line with engineering policies.
• Communicate and present technical results, project status, and issues to project managers.
• Develop and execute plans to meet technical, schedule, and contractual requirements.
• Develop action plans to address potential problems.
