Job Description
  1. Ensure the proper maintenance and good condition of audio-visual equipment.
  2. Keep maintenance gymnasium equipment forms up-to-date and implement preventative maintenance programs as needed.
  3. Stay informed about current and future services offered by the hotel and suggest improvements, expansions, or new services.
  4. Keep up-to-date with local and international trends in health and leisure services through various media.
  5. Manage the fitness centre retail area, including stock control, inventory, and sales.
  6. Oversee the fitness centre and sports facilities, including outdoor and indoor leisure programs.
  7. Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the department.
  8. Develop and implement personalized exercise programs for guests requesting private sessions or benefiting from personal instruction.
  9. Provide one-to-one personal training when required.
  10. Conduct fitness consultations for arriving guests.
  11. Assist guests with retail purchases as needed.
  12. Cover gymnasium reception and retail areas when necessary.
  13. Handle guest complaints and refer to supervisor or manager when appropriate.
  14. Follow up regularly with guests to monitor progress of fitness programs during their stay.
  15. Follow policies and procedures related to monitoring guest health and wellbeing, including administering medical questionnaires.
Qualifications

Possess an internationally recognized personal training certification and have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
