Overview

Duty Manager (HOT0BNLN) — We are looking for the potential candidate for the Duty Manager position at Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.

What will I be doing?
  • As a Duty Manager, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Provide consistent and superior service, and maintain high service standards
  • Actively seek verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis
  • Agree and implement actions to improve customer service
  • Positively deal with and learn from customer complaints and comments
  • Ensure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively
  • Welcome personally ‘special attention’ and VIP guests
  • Be fully aware of and competent in accident report procedures, maintenance fault reporting procedures, fire policy and procedure, bomb threat procedure, doctor assistance procedures and First Aid
  • Have perfect knowledge of the company’s Health & Safety Policy and act accordingly
  • Have thorough knowledge of department Brand Standards
  • Edit Duty Manager Log daily and distribute it to all related people
  • Ensure all comments referring to SALT and Guest Assistance are inserted in guest profiles for future reference
  • Maintain daily completion of the DM checklist
  • Ensure daily follow up on DM reports by the appropriate department
  • Report defects and faults to the appropriate department and follow up on them
  • Contribute to overall hotel security by reporting unusual occurrences to the security department
  • Ensure the shift is reviewed, handover and briefings are carried out
  • Maintain in-depth technical knowledge and skills required for the job
  • Work within all pre-set budgetary limits
