Overview

DSP Algorithms Engineer — Full-time — Ankara, Turkey

We are interested in candidates with Digital Signal Processing algorithm development experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop DSP algorithms for digital communications and EW applications
  • Work in close collaboration with SDR, RF, FPGA, and software engineers
  • Develop prototypes to prove out key design concepts
  • Turn prototype algorithms into robust production-grade DSP schemes
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Signal Processing
  • 2+ years of experience in DSP algorithm development
  • Proficiency in developing signal processing algorithms in Python or Matlab
  • Excellent understanding of DSP concepts such as FFT, IQ signals, FIR filters etc.
  • Understanding of link budgets and analysis related to digital communications
  • User of RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers
  • Experience with signal/pulse/burst detection, PDWs, frequency estimation
  • Experience in Git version control system
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering with emphasis in digital communications, DSP and/or EW systems
  • Experience with software defined radios (SDR) and frameworks such as GNURadio is a huge plus
  • DSP development in C++ is a huge plus
  • Good understanding of statistical signal processing concepts such as CFAR, detection theory etc.
  • Experience developing FIR and IIR filters
  • Knowledge of digital communications, forward error correction, modulation schemes such as PSK, FSK, QAM and OFDM
  • Knowledge of array signal processing, digital beamforming, phased arrays etc.
  • Good understanding of Phase-lock loops, Costas loops, scrambling, interleaving, etc.
  • Good understanding of channel estimation, equalization, pilot tracking, doppler compensation etc.
  • Modeling RF channel impairments
  • Familiarity with wireless standards
  • Experience with tracking, data association, and Kalman filters is a plus
