DSP Algorithms Engineer — Full-time — Ankara, Turkey
We are interested in candidates with Digital Signal Processing algorithm development experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop DSP algorithms for digital communications and EW applications
- Work in close collaboration with SDR, RF, FPGA, and software engineers
- Develop prototypes to prove out key design concepts
- Turn prototype algorithms into robust production-grade DSP schemes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Signal Processing
- 2+ years of experience in DSP algorithm development
- Proficiency in developing signal processing algorithms in Python or Matlab
- Excellent understanding of DSP concepts such as FFT, IQ signals, FIR filters etc.
- Understanding of link budgets and analysis related to digital communications
- User of RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers
- Experience with signal/pulse/burst detection, PDWs, frequency estimation
- Experience in Git version control system
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering with emphasis in digital communications, DSP and/or EW systems
- Experience with software defined radios (SDR) and frameworks such as GNURadio is a huge plus
- DSP development in C++ is a huge plus
- Good understanding of statistical signal processing concepts such as CFAR, detection theory etc.
- Experience developing FIR and IIR filters
- Knowledge of digital communications, forward error correction, modulation schemes such as PSK, FSK, QAM and OFDM
- Knowledge of array signal processing, digital beamforming, phased arrays etc.
- Good understanding of Phase-lock loops, Costas loops, scrambling, interleaving, etc.
- Good understanding of channel estimation, equalization, pilot tracking, doppler compensation etc.
- Modeling RF channel impairments
- Familiarity with wireless standards
- Experience with tracking, data association, and Kalman filters is a plus
