As a Direct Buyer at Bursa site, you will be responsible for setting up the full supplier selection process, deploying commodity strategies. You will also ensure project execution aligns with Quality, Cost, Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives, and support supplier panel relationships (supplier workload, negotiations, specific agreements).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up full supplier selection process
- Prepare and launch Requests for Quotation with suppliers
- Lead project negotiations
- Monitor procurement project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
- Ensure work package sheet commitments are respected
- Prepare Business Award documentation
- Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Coordinate projects across all departments
- Ensure on-time delivery and quality, especially during project ramp-up phases
Support Commodity Strategy
- Consolidate commodity needs and inputs
- Participate actively in commodity strategy and panel development
- Provide input to build differentiation
- Support the Commodity Manager during tender phases
- Represent commodities in projects, platforms, and solutions
- Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving
- Apply Alstom Procurement processes and share experiences
Build Supplier Relationships
- Support global supplier panel relationships
- Manage specific supplier panel relationships (negotiation, agreements, local QCDT performance)
- Measure supplier performance and develop them in coordination with the Quality Team
- Assess risky suppliers and manage mitigation plans
- Address issues before escalation
- Monitor CSR engagements and deviations
- Respect Alstom's code of ethics and guidelines
Performance Metrics
- Savings P&L and Cost to Complete
- Non-conformities and on-time delivery
- Supplier compliance status rate within panels
Required Competencies
Educational Requirements
- Engineering or Business School master's degree (mandatory)
- Master in Purchasing (desirable)
Experience
- 0-5 years of sourcing professional experience (mandatory)
