As a Direct Buyer at Bursa site, you will be responsible for setting up the full supplier selection process and deploying commodity strategies. You will also support project execution in line with Quality, Cost, Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives, and manage supplier panel relationships (workload, negotiation, specific agreements).

Main Responsibilities

• Set up the full supplier selection process, including preparing and launching Requests for Quotation, ensuring work package commitments are respected, and preparing business awards.
• Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
• Coordinate projects across all métiers and ensure on-time delivery and quality, especially during ramp-up phases.

Support commodity strategy development

• Consolidate commodity needs and inputs.
• Participate actively in commodity strategy and panel development.
• Provide inputs to build differentiation.
• Support the Commodity Manager during tender phases.
• Represent commodities in projects, platforms, and solutions.
• Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders for problem-solving.
• Apply Alstom procurement processes and share experiences.

Build and manage supplier relationships

• Support global supplier panel relationships.
• Manage specific supplier relationships, including negotiations and agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and develop them in coordination with the Quality Team.
• Assess risky suppliers and manage mitigation plans.
• Address initial issues before escalation.
• Monitor CSR engagements and deviations.
• Respect Alstom's code of ethics and guidelines.

Performance metrics include savings, cost to complete, non-conformities, and on-time delivery.

Main Required Competences

Educational Requirements

• Engineering or Business School Master’s degree.
• Master in Purchasing.

Experience

• Sourcing professional background (0-5 years).
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and challenge accordingly.
• Results-oriented, rigorous, and structured.
• International mindset.
