What you’ll do

Leading the technology, tools and automation activities for non-production environments for CI/CD, DevOps, Release & Deployments, Monitoring, Auto Healing, virtualization etc.

Leading DevOps CoE and related committees, enabling DevOps teams and initiatives, providing support for related tools, and delivering training to teams.

Your place in the team
  • Developing projects, issues, and workflows using ScriptRunner, MISC, JSU, Asset, and various plugins via Jira.
  • Creating and developing spaces and projects using various plugins via Confluence.
  • Planning and performing maintenance and upgrades of Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence tools.
  • Monitoring system resources collaboratively with Infrastructure and Operations teams, increasing resources as needed.
  • Strategizing for tools, accelerators, methodologies, and process improvements.
  • Developing strategies and improvements for VFTR SDLC workflows.
  • Supporting DevOps CoE and enabling/establishing DevOps & CI/CD teams.
  • Implementing, administering, and renewing projects on Atlassian tools, evolving them towards DevOps.
  • Working closely with Development, Operations, and Testing teams to ensure alignment across SDLC processes for seamless system implementation.
Who you are
  • 4+ years of relevant testing experience in GSM, IT systems, preferably with DevOps & Atlassian Tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies within a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, design, and testing skills.
  • Experience in ensuring service delivery meets business and operational standards.
  • Proficiency in measuring and reporting service performance, usage, and availability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience implementing capacity planning and DevOps tools and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working in Agile squads and delivering team-specific outputs.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira workflow development, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket administration, and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Grafana, SonarQube, Nexus.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts, Unix/Linux and Windows OS, Database Management Systems, IP networking, and software development lifecycle.
