Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or an equivalent level demonstrated through experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, or Commercial Planning within a multi-channel manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Experience in a multinational company environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of the heating, HVAC, or building installation market, including wholesale and installer channels, is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP.
- Proven ownership of a forecast, including statistical baseline, forecast accuracy and bias measurement, and a structured improvement approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Able to challenge the Sales organisation constructively and hold a position with senior commercial stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a matrix structure: accountable to the market while working to standards set by Group Supply Chain.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the rolling market demand plan across the full 0–18 month planning horizon, using IBP as the single source of truth for demand planning.
- Lead the monthly demand review with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, challenging inputs, resolving differences between the sales view, budget, and statistical baseline, and securing one agreed demand plan.
- Enrich the statistical baseline with market intelligence, including promotions, campaigns, tenders, project opportunities, subsidy schemes, regulatory changes, channel and competitor activities, and known customer wins and losses.
- Own and monitor forecast accuracy and forecast bias for the market; analyse major deviations, agree corrective actions with Sales, and report performance within the market and Group planning cycle.
- Incorporate product lifecycle events into the demand plan, including new product launches, phase-in/phase-out, cannibalisation, and end-of-life activities, in line with the product roadmap.
- Represent the market in the Group S&OP and IBP processes, ensuring timely submissions, clearly communicating assumptions and risks, and escalating misalignments when required.
- Translate supply constraints and availability risks into clear messages for Sales; support prioritisation decisions during supply shortages and ensure customer commitments reflect actual supply capabilities.
