Qualifications

• Expérience de 2+ ans en tant que Data Scientist, de préférence dans un environnement axé sur les données.
• Connaissance de l'apprentissage automatique et des techniques d'optimisation.
• Capacité à travailler avec des ensembles de données volumineux.

We are looking for a "Data Scientist" for Wingie Enuygun Group's growing team. With this position, you will have the chance to take part in the team that has developed one of the most successful internet businesses in Turkey.

Requirements

What makes you special?

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree (PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field preferably Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Experience in the travel, e-commerce, or marketplace industry is a plus
• Moderate knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more of the following: clustering, classification, regression, ensemble methods (e.g., bagging, boosting), recommendation systems, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision (CV), and optimization
• Familiarity with deep learning techniques and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is a plus
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis
• Moderate understanding of ML-Ops practices and experience with deploying and maintaining models in production
• Familiarity with AB testing methodology and evaluating model performance using statistical methods
• Proven ability to transform raw data into actionable business insights through data mining, statistical analysis, and advanced modeling
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and utilizing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically and strategically
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  
  

What will you do?

• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems using one or more of the following: clustering, classification, regression, recommendation systems, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision (CV), and optimization
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define data science projects and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Optimize existing models and data infrastructure to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Conduct data analysis and data mining to uncover actionable insights and identify trends within large, complex datasets
• Design and implement robust AB testing methodologies to evaluate the impact of data science solutions and recommendations
• Create and communicate clear, actionable insights through data visualizations and reports, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of MLOps practices, ensuring streamlined deployment and monitoring of models in production
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new data sources, techniques, and tools that can enhance the performance of existing data science algorithms, while also exploring new approaches
