Job summary

Reboot Monkey in BAYRAKLI, Turkey seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for a contract/freelance on-site role supporting mission-critical facilities. You will perform hardware installations, cabling, server racking, and cross-connects, coordinating with remote NOC and client teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in data centers or IT infra, strong cabling and server hardware experience, and holds or is pursuing relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills: Cat5e/6/6a, fiber types.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell/HP/Supermicro).
• Professional English communication.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in BAYRAKLI, Turkey. This is an on‑site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Compensation

₺275-385/hr (TRY hourly). Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after‑hours work may qualify for premium rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
