Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc in Turkey seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to maintain and operate the Güneşli Technology Center on a 7/24 basis. You will ensure continuous operation, meet SLAs, and coordinate with MSP and vendors for timely fault resolution while keeping energy efficiency at the forefront.

Therole requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of energy infrastructure and power systems, and solid experience with high-capacity air conditioning systems and telecom IT

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with min 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of energy infrastructure and power systems.
• Experience with high-capacity air conditioning systems and telecom IT layouts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate Güneşli Technology Center on a 7/24 basis.
• Ensure continuous operation and meet SLA KPIs.
• Oversee wiring, layout planning, and energy infrastructure updates.
• Coordinate with MSP and external vendors for fault resolution.
• Prepare weekly performance and energy reports.
• Ensure safety and compliance with HSE standards.
• Assist with commissioning of new energy systems and cooling equipment.

What you’ll do

• Keep Güneşli Technology Center up and running 7/24 basis
• Ensure the 7/24 continuity of Güneşli Technology Center operation
• Conclude internal and external customer requests in a timely and complete manner within the framework of roles and responsibilities
• Operate Güneşli Technology Center in an energy efficient and sustainable manner
• To apply Technical Infrastructure Maintenance and Operations Processes and defined actions via operation maintenance Subcontractor according to SLA KPIs. (L2 level operation)
• To apply layout allocations for Network/IT Equipment at Technology Center
• To make a periodical system checks and test of all infrastructure equipment, support independent audits
• To fulfil commissioning and integration of new energy systems and cooling equipment.
• To update & report electrical infrastructure layouts and drawings of Technology Center
• To warn and inform planning team in case of any capacity shortage and performance degradation at infrastructure equipment in details
• To follow up daily status of all infrastructure equipment in relation with Telecom and IT equipment
• To prepare weekly progress reports, energy equipment reports.
• To assure the quality of installation and works to be as required in the specifications and to be completed on schedule at Technology Center,
• To operate Technology Center environment without service outage
• To communicate closely and frequently with Internal/External Customer periodically at his/her Technology Center
• To monitor all alarms from infrastructure systems (7/24 basis)
• To take all essential preventive actions before fault occurrence
• To apply immediate corrective action in order to restore the system
• To supervise trouble shooting to be done by related vendor via MSP
• To report weekly performance of each system
• To present technical introduction of Güneşli Technology Centre (English/Turkish)
• To provide technical data to tender documents
• To support and organize Customer activities after sales
• To supervise/accompany potential customer visits (English/Turkish)
• To ensure to work safely and in good health, and provide a safe place of work,
• To work in compliance with health & safety rules and policies, and to identify risks related to the works/job
• To prevent/stop any unsafe works or acts
• To report all accidents and occupational health problems of own, staff, team members or contractors, to HSE&W department

Who you are

• Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
• Good Knowledge and experience on Energy infrastructure and power systems, high-capacity Air Conditioners systems, cabling and layout planning of Technology Center
• Customer oriented, result oriented, emphatic, good relationship with customers, customer satisfaction oriented
• Team work, innovative, adaptable, Flexible working (night-weekends-7/24 shift)
• Min 5 years similar experience
• Very Good English (at least Upper intermediate level)
• Mandely GSM/IT environment experience
• Experience at Telecom Operator or Mission Critical building
• Candidate home close to Güneşli Technology Center
