Job summary

Accenture in Istanbul is seeking a Senior Data & AI Lead to design and implement scalable data and AI solutions aligned with business goals. You will guide the technical direction of ML projects from prototyping to production and work with data engineers, scientists and stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases.

You'll drive MLOps adoption, ensure data governance, and stay ahead with emerging AI technologies while mentoring colleagues and shaping the Data & AI architecture across projects.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering, AI, Data Science or related field.
• 7+ years delivering end-to-end data and AI solutions.
• Strong Python with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Production ML via MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP; data engineering collaboration.
• CI/CD, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes; data privacy and governance awareness.
• English fluency; German a plus. Agile team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable Data & AI solutions aligned with business goals.

• Guide the technical direction of data science and machine learning projects from prototyping to production.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases.

• Drive adoption of MLOps practices for robust and reproducible model deployment and monitoring.

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are embedded into all AI and data initiatives.

• Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.

• Mentor and support technical team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and strategic planning within the broader Data & AI ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in delivering end-to-end data and AI solutions.

• Strong expertise in Python, with practical experience in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.

• Proven experience in designing and deploying ML models in production using MLOps frameworks and tools (e.g., MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).

• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., Glue, EMR, SageMaker, Azure ML).

• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and experience collaborating with data engineering teams.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of data privacy, model explainability, fairness, and governance in AI systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of software design and system architecture.

• Experience in Agile methodologies and leading cross‑functional technical teams.

• Fluent in English.

• German is a plus.

Location : Teknopark Istanbul (Kurtköy) Hybrid: 3 days office per week
