In this role you will advise customers regarding processing orders, product shortages, expected delivery dates and price changes. You will play a key role in solving customer's queries and support our sales team to ensure efficient and flawless service.

You will be responsible for handling complaints and building strategies for improving the overall customer experience and fostering loyalty.

This position offers the great opportunity to contribute to excelling our sales and business principles by working with our Customer Care Team Lead, Marine and agreeing with a truly exciting team and colleagues from all over the world.

What you can look forward to in this role

  • Receiving and processing orders and requests from customers as well as Collecting and analyzing customer feedback.
  • Working both with clients and other departments within the organization to ensure that client orders are processed correctly.
  • Resolving issues, inquiries, orders, service needs and complaints when suitable or direct to sales representatives and /or technical service areas.
  • Providing back-office support to Sales Department as per the Responsibility framework
    Providing information to customers regards to the status of the orders / claims / technicalissues.
  • Communication with other Hempel offices around the world as required for order placement & supply.
  • External invoicing.
  • Archiving of records.

What does it take to become our new team member?

  • Experience in customer service
  • Knowledge of the paint sector would be valuable but not required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
  • Understanding the life cycle of a PO placement, from start to finish.
  • Able to work in a lively customer care environment, maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Self-motivated, and able to follow best practices in sales processes.
  • Proficient in ERP-systems (Microsoft preferred)
  • Experience with CRMsystems
  • Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in English. Other language would be valuable
