The Current Engineer contributes to the successful completion of projects by utilizing technical/engineering knowledge in projects and issues for which he/she is responsible. Takes part in modification, development and correction activities related to products. Participates in R&D center activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• To manage materials and design issues.
• To carry out product improvement studies according to project types.
• To define product bill of materials and take part in the creation of technical drawings and engineering standards.
• Determine raw material and semi-product specifications.
• To take part in and contribute to R&D Center projects.
• To take part in the development and updating of engineering databases and programs.
• Making efforts to reduce costs in hose.
• To learn process problems related to hose.
• To take part in improvement studies in production processes.
• Support in quality activities.
• To make test requests related to the product, to interpret the results.
• Conducting hose trials related to customer complaints and making comments for complaint root cause analysis.
• To take part in inventory studies and to control nonconformities in prescriptions and to make corrections when necessary.
• Responding to requests for technical data and documents.
• To follow current developments in the field of hose, to go to customer visits when requested. To take part in fairs and technical organizations.
• To take part in the development/improvement of existing products, to participate in manufacturing trials.
• Participate in process and quality related improvements by working with operational units from an Engineering perspective.
• Provide technical support to departments directly or indirectly affected by engineering issues such as Sales department, Planning, Manufacturing and Purchasing team.

What We're Looking For

• To be eager about the application and properties of hose components
• To be able to read and interpret hose raw material technical specifications and to have the technical knowledge to prepare technical specifications for new materials when necessary.
• To be familiar or open minded with the hose production process.
• To have the competence to use engineering programs related to hose design, database systems, engineering definitions related to ERP system and hose constructions.
• To be a competent and exemplary employee in problem solving and analytical thinking.
• To communicate effectively and with team spirit with all units and to determine working strategies in line with the same goals.
• Graduating from Chemical/Mechanical/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering departments of universities at least at the undergraduate level
• To be able to analyze. To be able to think holistically.
• To be enthusiastic about problem solving and to be able to direct teammates.
• To be curious and inquisitive about technical issues.To have received Kaizen, Continuous Improvement and Gemba trainings
