Zusammenfassung

WhiteBIT Turkey, a fintech leader, is seeking a Financial Monitoring Specialist who will review alerts, investigate suspicious fiat and crypto activity, and build clear case narratives. You will combine KYC data, on-chain activity, and transaction history to assess risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, banking, law, criminology, international relations, statistics, data analytics or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on transaction-monitoring, AML investigations, sanctions investigations or financial-crime experience.
• Experience investigating crypto exchange or on-chain activity, including wallet tracing and interpretation of transaction patterns.
• Knowledge of Turkish AML/CFT obligations, sanctions/PEP controls and confidentiality requirements.
• Experience with transaction-monitoring, case-management, sanctions-screening and blockchain-analytics tools (Chainalysis/TRM/Elliptic) is advantageous.
• Ability to combine KYC/customer information, fiat activity, blockchain data into a clear investigation narrative.
• Strong analytical judgment and risk-based decision making.
• Excellent documentation and attention to detail; ability to meet SLAs.
• Excel/Google Sheets proficiency; SQL or data-analysis experience is a plus.
• Turkish native and English at minimum B2.

Aufgaben

• Review transaction-monitoring alerts and investigate unusual or potentially suspicious fiat and crypto activity.
• Analyze customer profiles, KYC/CDD/EDD records and account behavior.
• Use blockchain analytics to trace funds and assess wallet or counterparty risk.
• Review sanctions, PEP, adverse-information and fraud indicators relevant to investigations.
• Request information through internal processes and assess explanations and evidence.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based case narratives and escalate to the Compliance Officer as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and audit trails for investigations.
• Meet investigation SLAs and contribute to calibration and quality reviews.
• Share actionable findings with Compliance and control owners.
