Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Act as Purchasing representative within Program teams,
  • RFQ process within Commodity/Program with key focus on sourcing/resourcing of new/running projects,
  • Program milestones and reach relevant KPIs, coordinate other functions' activities in order to reach common goals,
  • Long term Commodity Strategy, utilizing defined global supplier panel, supporting multiple production plants,
  • Negotiations to optimize QCD outcome of business cases based on Total Cost of Ownership principles, challenge status quo, improve standards and share them across the organization,
  • Resourcing/insourcing according to make or buy/commodity strategy,
  • The Program Gate regime to comply with Purchasing process according to Automotive standards and Quality policies,
  • Improve Purchasing processes and drive its implementation within the function,
  • Skills growth and development of less experienced team members, Comprehensive data analysis to support business case presentations within available tool landscape,
  • To process maturity growth by sharing lessons learned and general awareness of commodity complexity and specifics among Purchasing and other Functions.
Knowledge Required
  • University degree in related field,
  • Buyer Experience of minimum 2-3 years in Purchase of Non-Production material (pref. Automotive),
  • Fluent in English ,
  • Knowledge of Excel and SAP,
  • Strong negotiation skills,
  • Strong Processes Knowledge,
  • Ability to work individually on projects.
