We are looking for a talented individual to join our Correspondent Banking Team within the Treasury & International Banking Division. The new team member will manage correspondent banking relations, increase Trade Finance market share, and enhance the Bank’s funding portfolio. This role will contribute to developing existing and new correspondent relationships, supporting branches in meeting customer trade finance requests, and representing the Bank effectively in international markets.

Your responsibilities will include
- Representing QNB within local and international banks.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with correspondent banks, contributing to establishing new credit relations.
- Supporting the realization of cash and non-cash loan transactions within the limits provided by our correspondent banks, in line with branch demands, considering the balance between lowest cost and highest efficiency.
- Coordinating the processes of securing funding or lending from markets through syndication, post-financing, promissory note discounting, Murabaha, export credit, and medium-term loans supported by export insurance institutions and similar foreign trade financing instruments.
- Making the necessary arrangements for payment products, taking into account the Bank’s strategy and correspondent relations for payment transactions made through Nostro and Loro accounts, and monitoring payment flows. Following up on the operational process in coordination with relevant teams for Nostro and Loro account opening/closing.
- Resolving issues that may arise in all transactions related to correspondent relations.
- Preparing weekly and monthly department reports.
- Managing IT project processes for system improvements and reporting.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking skills with qualitative and quantitative reasoning capabilities.
- Knowledge of trade finance, funding, and treasury products.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
