Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Sales Manager to join our Commercial team at Hilton İstanbul Bosphorus. You will manage corporate sales efforts by maintaining and growing existing accounts, developing new opportunities, and ensuring that Hilton remains the preferred choice for corporate clients. Your proactive approach, strategic mindset, and excellent communication skills will contribute to the success of Hilton’s corporate sales segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales methods & approaches to maintain strong client relationships within the corporate and travel segments.
  • Represent Hilton in rate negotiations and successful promotions to meet business needs.
  • Conduct a minimum of 4 sales calls per day and/or 20 per week, ensuring effective account coverage.
  • Participate in joint sales calls with team members for Top Corporate Accounts.
  • Manage sales systems (HSMS, RFP, etc.) to source and respond to leads in a timely manner.
  • Promote and coordinate central sales & marketing initiatives to the assigned account base.
  • Negotiate rate agreements with customers as required.
  • Handle and respond to client requests promptly.
  • Maintain effective communication with the General Manager and operating departments, providing market insights when needed.
  • Provide sales training, guidance, and account management support to junior colleagues as directed by the Commercial Manager.
  • Prepare and deliver the following reports: Weekly sales call activity plan; Weekly activity report; Monthly “3-month rolling action plan.”
  • Ensure up-to-date account and contact profiles for the corporate team, with records available for audit.
  • Continuously update mailing lists and client information databases.
  • Coordinate, delegate, and assign sales calls to junior colleagues when required.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and recommend rate positioning and promotional tactics.
  • Represent Hilton at international sales trips, fairs, and roadshows as directed.
  • Respond to client and ISO business requests within 24 hours, ensuring professional communication.
  • Manage annual and seasonal corporate account contract renewals in coordination with the Sales Director/Commercial Manager.
  • Attend hotel inspections, corporate events, and PR gatherings to strengthen relationships.
  • Conduct regular competitor hotel visits and report activities to the Commercial team.
  • Stay updated on market developments, trends, and opportunities, providing insights to the Commercial Manager.
  • Supervise and support junior colleagues in their sales activities, ensuring full market coverage and compliance with reporting standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in Sales within the hospitality industry, ideally at a managerial or senior executive level.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proactive, strategic, and adaptable approach to changing market conditions.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of corporate travel and contracting processes is preferred.
