Job description

Founded in 2006, Mar Yapı has quickly become one of Turkey's innovative real estate development companies. Mar Yapı, which has active subsidiaries other than real estate development, operates in the energy, information technologies, hotel management and service sectors.

We invite you to assume the position of Corporate Sales Executive in the Sales department of our G Rotana hotel, which offers luxury housing and hotel concepts within G-Hospitality by Mar-Yapı.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads.
  • Carry out daily effective physical sales activities, with a number of quotes instructed by the Manager.
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients.
  • Generate event/group inquiries from accounts and collaborate with the Group & Banquet Sales department.
  • Continuously update mailing lists and account/contact profiles of his/her account base.
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
  • Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities.
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
  • Operate the hotel reservation system to book rooms, banquet venues, etc.
  • Conduct site inspections and entertainment in the hotel.
  • Schedule and develop sales activities and obtain approval from the Corporate Sales Manager, maintaining and developing customers in the region or industry according to the plan.
  • Attend Sales events, as required.
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Welcome key customers, team leaders, and VIPs to the hotel when they arrive as required.
Required Skills
  • University degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Preferably similar experience in a wireless environment.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
