Job description

We are looking for an experienced IT Expert who would join our information systems team in Contract Logistics.

Your Role

As an IT Expert in Contract Logistics in Turkey, you will be responsible for supporting all information system activities related to warehouse and distribution management systems. This includes ensuring seamless EDI communication, configuring environments, training users, and integrating customer requirements into Kuehne+Nagel’s systems. You will play a key role in system enhancements, go-live support, and continuous improvement initiatives, while also ensuring compliance with internal policies and contributing to knowledge transfer and personal development.

Your Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations, including integration with customer systems.
• Implement and troubleshoot EDI communication between customer systems and WMS.
• Configure and manage test and production environments for system readiness.
• Deliver user training and provide hyper care support during go-lives and system releases.
• Review and enhance existing Contract Logistics IT processes to leverage new functionalities and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate customer requirements into system configurations and ensure proper application within WMS.
• Provide operational support and knowledge transfer for WMS systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, and Information Security, and participate in emergency team responsibilities if assigned.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in IT support or logistics systems.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and general PC skills.
• Basic knowledge of Web Services and sFTP for file transfers.
• Familiarity with EDI formats such as EDIFACT, FLATFILE, and XML.
• Basic SQL and AS/400 knowledge.
• Strong communication, training delivery, and organizational skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish.
• Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
