Viravira is seeking a Content Writer Intern to support our SEO and content marketing for platform pages and blog. This role suits students or recent graduates passionate about writing, travel, and digital content; you will create SEO-friendly content for yacht charter destinations, boat rental categories, and landing pages.

You will work with marketing and SEO teams to ensure content aligns with goals, use AI responsibly, and deliver clear, accurate writing with attention to tone.

Qualifications

• Senior undergraduate or graduate with English, journalism, marketing, or travel focus.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
• Interest in travel, marine tourism, and digital platforms is a plus.
• Experience with SEO content writing or editorial work is beneficial.

Overview

We are looking for a Content Writer Intern who will support our SEO and content marketing efforts by creating high-quality content for viravira.co’s platform pages and blog. This role is ideal for a student, recent graduate, or early-career candidate who is passionate about writing, travel, digital content, and search engine optimization.

As a Content Writer Intern, you will help us produce clear, useful, and SEO-friendly content for yacht charter destinations, boat rental categories, blog articles, landing pages, and other digital assets. High-performing candidates may be evaluated for full-time opportunities after the conclusion of the internship period.

Responsibilities

• Research and write SEO-friendly content for platform landing pages, destination pages, yacht charter guides, blog posts, and other website content.
• Create clear, engaging, and informative content for users looking for yacht charter and boat rental options.
• Support keyword-based content production in line with SEO briefs and content guidelines.
• Assist in updating, improving, and expanding existing website and blog content.
• Conduct online research about destinations, marinas, sailing routes, yacht types, and travel topics.
• Help prepare meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, FAQs, and other on-page SEO elements.
• Work with the marketing and SEO teams to ensure content is aligned with business goals and search intent.
• Use AI and content tools responsibly to improve research, drafting, editing, and content production speed.
• Check content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, originality, and brand tone.
• Support content localization and adaptation when needed.
• Track content tasks and deliver assignments within agreed deadlines.

Qualifications

• Senior undergraduate or postgraduate students or recent graduates from English Language and Literature, Translation and Interpreting, Linguistics, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Tourism, or a related field.

• Excellent command of the English language.

• Strong writing skills in English are required.

• Any additional language is a plus.

• Previous internship, freelance writing, blog writing, SEO content writing, or editorial experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Ability to write clear, structured, and user-friendly content.

• Basic understanding of SEO content principles such as keywords, search intent, headings, meta descriptions, internal linking, and readability.

• Interest in travel, marine tourism, sailing, yacht charter, and digital platforms is a plus.

• Ability to use AI tools effectively while maintaining originality, accuracy, and quality.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, especially Docs, Word, Sheets, and Excel.

• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Surfer SEO, or similar tools is a plus.

• Experience using AI writing and editing tools such as ChatGPT or similar tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with content management systems is a plus.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Intellectually curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback.

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple content tasks.
